103: Vintage Holidays and Kitschy Fun with Rebecca of @curafted
“I learn something new every day!”
Rebecca Pattillo (Puh-til-O), of @curafted, has a love for all things old and unique - so much so that she has a career as an archivist where she gets to surround herself with rare books, manuscripts, ephemera, and other historic materials. She has worked in special collections libraries and archives at an art museum, a historical society, and most recently, at universities. She has been a life-long thrifter, who gravitates towards all things kitsch, Christmas and Halloween, and mid-century modern. Her latest favorite thing to collect are kitschy animal figurines with real rabbit fur, novelty salt and pepper shakers, and all things mushroom. She lives in Durham, NC with her two cats, dog, and spouse, Charlotte.
