“You can have a party, have a lavish experience and not create any waste!”

Picnic 4 All Seasons was founded by Yelitza Nieves-Caraballo. Yelitza has been a high school Spanish teacher for ten years. She works with students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. To that end, she ensures that her students have a true sense of belonging while in her classroom. Whether she is teaching in person or virtually, her teaching goals remain the same: to create moments of genuine connection and as much joy as possible. Yelitza has also worked as a Global Youth Leadership Institute Coordinator and has coordinated student trips to Connecticut, New Mexico, and Costa Rica. Her passion is to create enriching experiences and memories that last a lifetime. Family and friends would describe her as “extra,” which means standard picnics and cookouts do not suffice. When COVID-19 became the reality and outdoors became the safest place to enjoy the company of friends and family, socially distanced picnics became the natural, most fun thing to do. She is fueled by her passion to live, be outdoors, make the best out of any situation, and make a positive impact on the planet.
