"Let’s make the sustainable choice really convenient and fun for the everyday shopper.”

Sarah Pinner is a self-proclaimed “circular economy nerd.” She is currently co-founder and CEO of beni, a browser plug-in that aggregates and recommends resale options while you’re shopping online. Prior to founding Beni, Sarah led expansion initiatives and spearheaded the Sustainability Team at Imperfect Foods, an online grocery company focused on fighting food waste. She started her career at Rabobank where she supported both the corporate lending practice and managed Food & Ag startup initiatives. BACKGROUND ON BENI:

  • Beni is a software company on a mission to bridge the gap between eCommerce and re-commerce. Our ultimate goal is to help promote circularity + sustainability in fashion by making shopping resale as easy as shopping new.
  • Beni's free browser extension instantly shows shoppers the best pre-loved listings while they browse their favorite brands online (think Honey meets Expedia for re-commerce!).
  • Beni has been featured across publications and platforms including TechCrunch, WWD, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Marie Claire, and the TODAY Show. Our extension has been installed by over 12,000 thrift-stars and we'd happily cross-promote the episode across our social channels to drive our supporters to listen.
